Unfortunately, the model is still not fully finished, life complications made me leave part of the hobby in the place I don't live anymore.<br />Regarding the age: yes, the kit is definitely an old one. However, if the company is selling it to me today, than I am judging it by today's standards. I built the same kit in my yo...Hello,<br /><br />nice report.<br />I built the same kit in my young years in the 80s.<br />At that time I missed the Stahllaufrollen in the front side.<br /><br />Well, actuelly to this kit.<br />I did not bought the newer constructed kit from Tamiya with Stahllaufrollen, I built today the MM188 / 35088.<br />The reason was following, i got an older conversitions kit Accurate Armour<br />C37 / C037: Jagdpanzer IV ‘O-Series’<br />Normaly I can have a look for the Dragon-kit, that is me to simple, to standard.<br /><br />Well, I thougt the same: side armor<br />I looked for alternatives like Voyager Model, it's certainly a matter of taste, they look too thin to me.<br />As written in this report, I will will also grind my site armor.<br />Two kits together and I will build them out of the box.<br />That is correct: I'm absolutely sure that's not how German periscopes looked like, but at least it's something :o<br />It looks like, that Accurate Armour has a another solution here.<br /><br />Please note:<br />That Tamiya-Kit is from the 70s, not from 21st century.<br /><br /><br />Best Regards from Hamburg<br /><br />Der Klaus<br />Der Klaushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08895365770916746661noreply@blogger.com
